Trulieve, a leading US cannabis company, has announced the opening of a new dispensary in Findlay, Ohio, marking its continued expansion in the state. Set to open its doors on December 19, 2025, the dispensary is located at 1501 W Main Cross Street and will operate under the Trulieve brand through a licensing agreement with Harvest Grows LLC. This new location will offer both walk-in services and product pick-up, catering to both adult-use consumers and medical patients with a range of premium cannabis products

The opening of the Findlay dispensary comes at a significant time as Ohio is undergoing changes in its cannabis legislation. Recently, the Ohio Senate passed Senate Bill 56, which introduces a range of new regulations including the criminalization of out-of-state cannabis purchases and the removal of certain consumer protections. This legislative shift is part of the state's ongoing efforts to refine its cannabis laws following the approval of a cannabis legalization measure by voters in 2023

Mark Eiland, CEO of Harvest Grows LLC, expressed enthusiasm about the new dispensary, emphasizing the company's commitment to providing high-quality products and excellent customer service. "We are thrilled to serve the Findlay community with a new dispensary under the trusted Trulieve brand," Eiland stated. Kim Rivers, CEO of Trulieve, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the partnership with Harvest Grows as a step towards expanding access to cannabis across Ohio

Trulieve's expansion in Ohio is part of a broader strategy to increase its footprint across multiple states. The company currently operates additional dispensaries in Ohio cities such as Beavercreek, Columbus, and Westerville, offering a diverse array of products including Modern Flower and R.O. brands. Beyond Ohio, Trulieve has a significant presence in states like Arizona, where it recently opened a new location in Bisbee, further illustrating its growth trajectory in the cannabis market

The introduction of the Findlay dispensary coincides with a pivotal moment in Ohio's cannabis industry. As the state navigates new legislative frameworks, the role of companies like Trulieve becomes increasingly important in shaping consumer access and industry standards. With the potential for further legislative developments, the cannabis landscape in Ohio continues to evolve, presenting both challenges and opportunities for businesses and consumers alike
