In Massachusetts, the legalization of cannabis has led to increased experimentation with cannabis products, which sometimes results in unpleasant side effects such as anxiety or paranoia. To address this issue, a mother-son team from Boston has created a product called "Soft Landing," designed to help users manage their cannabis highs more effectively

Eli Stoloff, a recent Cornell University graduate, and his mother, Alice Stone, have developed a chocolate bar that acts as an 'inverse edible.' Unlike traditional edibles that enhance the high, Soft Landing aims to reduce it. The idea emerged during Stoloff's time at Cornell, where he encountered stories of students struggling to come down from intense cannabis experiences

Alice Stone, with a background in alternative healing methods, discovered a natural molecule in various herbs and spices that could counteract the effects of THC, similar to how black pepper is known to mitigate strong highs. After extensive trials, they perfected a formula that delivers this molecule effectively, which they believe can help users regain balance after consuming cannabis edibles

The efficacy of Soft Landing has been supported by a medical survey, which found that 80% of participants rated it as effective or very effective. Sean Hope, an investor who tested the product himself, reported feeling balanced and experiencing immediate effects, reinforcing his decision to support the venture

With plans to launch in Massachusetts, Stoloff and Stone are actively seeking further investment to increase production. They are confident in their product's potential to provide a solution for cannabis users who wish to manage their high, seeing it as a significant innovation in the growing cannabis market
