In response to a recent shooting incident, residents of Christiania, a self-proclaimed autonomous neighborhood in Copenhagen, have begun dismantling cannabis stalls in their community. The decision came after a violent encounter left two police officers and a civilian injured during an attempt to apprehend a drug dealer. One of the officers remains in critical condition. The suspected shooter was captured but succumbed to injuries sustained during his arrest
Risenga Manghezi, representing the residents, expressed their strong condemnation of the violence that has plagued Pusher Street, a well-known area for cannabis trade.
